Learn German and get academic preparation at IIK e.V.

At our institute, we offer a wide range of intensive German courses and a varied supporting programme for applicants and other interested parties, in order to prepare you perfectly for your studies at a German university. Our aim is that after attending our institute, you will be ready for the DSH/TestDaF examinations and know the fundamental study techniques you will need at German universities.

Our offer: Intensive language courses and accompanying programme

If you attend a language course at IIK, the accompanying programme is included: In our intensive language courses you have 5 hours of lessons daily from Monday to Friday and can repeat and deepen what you have learned in the weekly tutorial. In addition, you can choose from our range of individual language learning consultations, in which you will be supported in autonomous and successful learning and can try out many learning strategies and methods. In addition, there are regular workshops that focus on a wide range of topics, from intercultural competence to academic writing and successful learning with the Internet, thus familiarising you in a variety of ways with the requirements at German universities.

Our courses and consultations almost always take place on the campus of the University of Göttingen, so you can get a taste of the campus atmosphere and participate in many student activities while preparing for your studies.
