German Language Courses for international students, employees and visiting scholars
- Small learning groups of 7 to 14 participants per half-level. Intercultural exchange with students from all over the world
- Experienced lecturers who also teach at university
- Each language course covers one half-level and you will receive a certificate with credit points upon successfully completing the course. If there is enough demand, all half-levels (A1.1, A1.2, A2.1, A2.2, B1.1, B1.2, B2.1, B2.2 and C1.1) are offered.
- 6 credit points (ECTS) - you can get the language course acknowledged at Göttingen University.
- The courses are also open to other people (aged 16 years and above): You don't need to study or work at the University of Göttingen in order to take part in the German language courses.
- Depending on the month we offer different course formats:
►Hybrid courses: These courses take place offline in a classroom in Göttingen. However, you can also choose to attend the courses online via live video conference. (Please choose between offline and online attendance when registering.)
►Face-to-face / In-classroom courses (offline): These courses can only be attended in a classroom in Göttingen.. - You practice grammar and all language skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing on the basis of the GER (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages)
- All offline/face-to-face courses include a programme of extracurricular activities (optional language tutorials, free time activities, and day trips). The extracurricular activities are included in the course fee.
We can also organise exclusive courses for groups of 6 or more students on the dates of your choice.
